AWARDS & PUBLICATION
Below you'll find several of the many awards and publications we are fortunate to have received. We find it very gratifying to be recognized for our efforts!
Awards:

Saviettere Poolhouse, 2000. After designing this English Manor Home earlier in the hills of Chester Township, NJ, the new owner's- an avid swimming family- retained our services again. Developed with architectural vernacular similar to the residence, and accessed thru a circular stair tower connecting both floors, this illuminated pool house featured open beam trusses and quality finishes. The N.J. Builder's Association voted this Best Addition and Renovation Project in 2000.

Waggin Tail Kennel, 2002. Our studio was fortunate to partner with very creative owners, who had the vision of redeveloping a run-down dairy farm in the Randolph area into a state-of-the-art dog kennel facility. The New Jersey Builder's Association voted our efforts as best Commercial Renovation in 2002.

Francis Fryburgh Award, 1996. Our studio became involved with the Lower East Side Redevelopment Committee in NYC several years prior to the development of this Delancy Street Community Center. Opposite the Forsyth Street open public park, this building developed a open-plan relationship with the park, replicating natural and evolving materials similar to the trees and vegetation in this natural oasis located in center of this urban fabric. We were awarded with this prestigious NYC award at a banquet on Roosevelt Island in 1996.

Vision Ministry Award, 2000. Working together with a former client who had a relationship with the Atonement Lutheran Church on Long Island, our studio was able to develop a radical expansion and site planning project for the church. Initially designed as a full-service community center, our designed were presented to the church faculty, and our presentation renderings are being used for fund-raising. During a community day held at the church, we were overwhelmed by being awarded the Vision Ministry Award for our efforts.

Scialla and Demarest Architects, LLC. 1994-Present. During my professional collaboration and partnership with my mentor Robert Scialla, AIA from our Mendham studio, we have enjoyed many NJ Homebuilder Awards for our efforts. From small additions and renovations to custom residences, the NJ Builders Association has repeatedly recognized our efforts through many awards.

Gagnon Residence, Summit NJ, 2008. Following an extensive design and construction effort with the prestigious construction company Fenix Builders, this beautiful Tudor style home was recreated. Removing several dated additions and remodeling efforts allowed our team to create a full renovation and award project to compliment this Summit treasure. We are presently involved in the submission of a Historic Renovation Award submission through the NJ Homebuilders Assoc.
